Hands down the greatest Chinese Take away in Coventry. Yes during the peak times, the wait can be awhile, but this is only a reflection of how great and popular the food is, also Jackie's memory for her regular customers names and their orders is truly amazing. Always asks how my wife is by name. No dish has ever disappointed.

Ordered a few times from here now and the food has been really good and very good portions. The Salt and Pepper chicken wings are very spicy and go well with the king prawn and mixed veg dish. Although I have had better wings from other places. They don’t seem fresh but good nonetheless. Prawn toast and spare ribs average nothing special. Overall good value for money and big portions if you can get through to them to place an order. They also make the best crispy duck I’ve had from a takeaway in Coventry!
As I've visited a few times and have now had their crispy duck I can’t fault it. They’re always consistent on their food. So 5/5 from me!- Food

This year is 30 years since I moved house 'near' to this takeaway and I have never had a problem.
Not long ago the couple who ran it , retired and the management passed on to another husband and wife 'team', still I have no issues with the food or the service and although there has been some subtle changes (introduction of card payments and removal of some of the less popular dishes) the 'transition' has been a great success ! the only 'possible criticism' is that at peak times it is too 'popular' leading to a wait for your food, hence the negative remarks regarding 'phone ordering'.
I wish this business all the best and look forward to many more delicious meals in the future.- Service

I found Wok U Like several years ago they family and used them regularly. I moved away from Coventry about 6 weeks ago and tried my local Chinese takeaway, but still returned to Wok U Like. Why? Because their service is friendly and welcoming and their food is delicious and reasonably priced. I am going to have to travel for my takeaway from now on, but it's well worth it.

Food is always great, lady behind the counter is always friendly and polite, my only problem is when trying to make a phone order to collect, the phone 90% of the time is busy or just no answer, I asked about this and she said she takes it off the hook when busy, which means i have to go to the shop to order and wait, when i could just order over the phone and pick the food straight up, it's just more convenient, otherwise it's fine no other complaints, let's see if they answer the phone later when I call!! 🤔🤷♂️
Edit- she answered 1st time!! And food was great, as was the service, now I give it 5 stars as it was only the phone issue that made me mark it down a star!!👌👍My son and daughter in law have been using wok u like for many years. They introduced us last month and I can say it's one or the best Chinese take away I've had. Shame the don't deliver but we'll worth the drive. Great food friendly staff quick service.

I had the king prawn curry really enjoyed it my wife had chicken and pineapple our children had sweet and sour chicken balls we ate the lot . Service was excellent premises where clean and tidy the prices are very reasonable. Would recommend any of the dishes we had will definitely be going back 😀

Fantastic Chinese Takeaway!! Never had a issue with my food here always on point and very very flavoursum! Wished they would delivery but hey ho not the end of the world!! Keep up the great tasting food guys !!

Tried a lot of Chineses in Coventry but haven’t found anywhere as good as this. Best Chinese in Cov! Like someone else said, it’s a shame they don’t deliver but I bet they still aren’t short of customers. Would recommend :)
